While the two are together, Kiryu is free to travel to any city, and there will be a 'Request Made' message displayed on the right side of the screen. Haruka's Trust is once again exclusive to Premium Adventure. At rank C, Haruka will start holding hands with Kiryu again. Haruka's Trust is exclusive to Premium Adventure. These restrictions are not present in Premium Adventure, and Kiryu is free to explore both Kamurocho and Okinawa with her and reach EX rank. In the main story, Haruka's meter can only reach SSS. When doing the main story, Kiryu can only do things with Haruka to increase her trust in the first chapter, at certain points in chapter 4, and in the last chapter before fighting Yoshitaka Mine. No task other than the one displayed can be done. In Kiwami 2, just like Kiwami, Haruka will say her required task in a word balloon over her head or when talked to. He is able to explore Kamurocho with Haruka in chapter 15. Kiryu first takes Haruka to explore Sotenbori in chapter 13. Haruka will say her required task in a word balloon over her head or when talked to.

Reaching EX rank is required for the trophy Mister Master. Haruka's Trust is only available in Premium Adventure. Haruka's Trust first becomes available when Haruka joins Kiryu to explore in chapter 7. When not with Kiryu, Haruka will wait in Serena/ New Serena, Aoi, or Morning Glory Orphanage, depending on the game. Some tasks are only available at higher ranks.

In Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and Yakuza 5, Haruka will occasionally predict the result of a Cho-han dice roll from rank SS onward. The trust meter always starts at F and caps out at EX, with a reward from Haruka being received at each rank-up. In case of failure, the area may need to be reloaded for Haruka's prompt to reappear. If Kiryu interacts with whatever Haruka is standing next to and she asks for something, then completing it will count towards her trust. Haruka needs to be taken near a location that hosts a task for a prompt from her. Some tasks will repeat, but with a harder goal than before for minigames, or a different item for stores.

These tasks can include buying an item from a store, or reaching a specific score or prize in a minigame. Each task is on a knock-out list, meaning once it has been complete, that specific task will not appear again. While Kazuma Kiryu has Haruka Sawamura following him around, he can do a specific tasks for her to increase her trust level.
